AILEEN ROBERTSON SCHOOL OF HIGHLAND DANCING

The Aileen Robertson School of Highland Dancing is based in Ayr.  The
School has been established for 25 years.  Aileen opened the school after
winning the World Highland Dancing Championship three times.  Since then it
has grown from eight pupils to 100.  Ages range from three to twenty and
children are taught Highland Scottish National and Choreography.

It is a very successful school and boasts many Champions.  The School holds
the United Kingdom, Scottish, British, Commonwealth and North American
Champions.  Also are the current winners of the Highlands and Islands Music
and Dance Festival Choreography Competitions held in Oban.  They boast all
six representatives of the Ayrshire Team who compete in the Scottish Area
Finals.

Aileen teaches workshops all over the World. She travels mainly to Canada
and the USA as an Adjudicator and Examiner and has also taught an
adjudicated in Australia. 

Classes are held in Ayr, Prestwick, Crosshill and Coylton.
