Why did you join? I wanted to learn to play another instrument and the pipes looked like a good challenge.
Why would you recommend it? Joining the band gives you the opportunity to play and experiance traditional scottish music, home and overseas. You quickly develop a pride in the music you play and it is a fantastic feeling being able to entertain at home and abroad. And it is a good laugh.
Favourite Tune/Set? Bonnie Dundee and Muckin O Geordies Byre
Other Hobbies? Playing keyboards with 'Fusion', playing squash and walking my dog Cassie.
Ambitions? To be successful in my chosen career and to be happy.
Words of Advice to potential members? Learning an instrument can be hard work, however its more than worth the effort as it is great fun, so come along.
